March Lunch Meeting
March 17, 2011
Governor's Energy Office - Programs & Partnerships
Mona Newton will present to the RMAEE an overview of the Governor's
Energy Office mission and their programs that can help reduce utility
costs in public buildings and for small businesses. She will explain how
the GEO's programs can assist communities, counties, school districts
and utilities to inform and develop partnerships that result in
increased Energy Efficiency. She also will discuss how the utilization
of Renewable Energy can be instrumental in the overall goal of reduced
energy and reduced carbon footprint. She will also briefly cover the
various programs that are available to homeowners (aren't we all one
of these also!).
